Seminyak has the beaches, temples, adventure sports and the best parties! Most gourmet chefs and international hairstylists have set up shop here making sure you don’t go a day without a cup of the perfect roast or hair blow-dried to perfection (all the while sipping on martinis if you please)! Seminyak has the best places to hang out, explore, live (if we say so ourselves) and relax. So, we’re here to give you the low down on what to do, where to buy all the cool stuff and what else to do!

I. Visit:

1. Pool & Beach Clubs

If there’s just one thing you could do in Bali, we would suggest heading to the beach clubs to get the right mix of Bali beaches and the vibrant party scene. Diving, lounging, swimming, good food and parties come together at Mrs Sippy. Grab a sun lounger and spend the day having an epic time at this uber cool pool club.

Potato Head has been party central for the longest time, thanks to its three restaurants, three bars and an epic infinity pool. Relax by the pool with a view of the Indian Ocean that will (literally) make your heart skip a beat. Leave with windswept hair and a bag of treasured memories.

La Brisa with its relaxed ambience and located right on the beach is the destination to experience rugged and sophisticated Bali at the same time. The kids’ playground is also a favourite with the li’l ones, who can’t get enough of the swings, jungle gyms and the beach.

2. Temples

Visit the many temples to soak in the rich culture and heritage of Bali. From morning rituals and traditional weddings to celebrating festivals, temples are an important part of the Balinese culture. In Bali, you will witness your fair share of these celebrations that will take you on a cultural ride. Petitenget Temple, Tanah Lot, Uluwatu Temple, Tirta Empul Temple, Goa Gajah and Gunung Kawi Temple are some of the temples you can visit to get a first-hand experience of the architectural and cultural significance of these astounding structures.

Seminyak is the soul of Bali. Anything worth mentioning is happening in Seminyak. During your stay in Chandra located smack in the centre of the action (and still far away from the hoopla), grab a bicycle, scooter or your walking shoes and explore this exciting neighbourhood. Head over to Revolver for a bit and a cup of fresh brewed coffee (high quality beans sourced from around the world and Bali). Culture and nature combine to make one peaceful experience at Masceti Temple (also known as Petitenget Temple) located 1.3 kms from your Chandra villa. One of our all-time favourite restaurants happens to be situated a few steps from the beach – La Lucciola located next door to Petitenget Temple is all things wonderful. Enjoy perfectly constructed Mediterranean dishes while the waves lap the sun setting into the sea. For some afternoon chill, Mad Pops serves some delicious vegan artisanal popsicles and ice cream made with delicious locally sourced fruits. Deep dive into Balinese culture by visiting the local art galleries in Seminyak. To kick up your adrenaline levels, head over to Seminyak Beach and take surfing lessons or ride a horse. If that interferes with your lazing-about time, shake up some sand, lay a beach towel and forget the world.
