If you’re planning a family trip to Bali, you might be wondering how to keep the kids entertained for the duration of your stay. While the grownups would probably be more than happy to spend a full week simply lounging by the pool, at some point, the kids are bound to start feeling a little stir-crazy. Luckily, Bali is a fabulously family-friendly destination with plenty to do for the whole family. These fun-filled activities are guaranteed to keep kids of all ages entertained!

Poolside fun at Waterbom

Waterbom has repeatedly been ranked as the best waterpark in Asia and with good reason. Offering a whole slew of rides and slides ranging from mellow to extreme, Waterbom is beloved by kids of all ages – and parents are guaranteed to have a great time, too! If you’re travelling with young children, they also have a large Funtastic Kiddy Area for the little ones. The sustainably designed waterpark is surrounded by lush jungle and features a few restaurants too, so it really makes for a fun all-day outing.

Fun and play at Parklife

Located in trendy Canggu, this fun and friendly “family hub” features awesome indoor and outdoor playgrounds. The setting is perfect for the kids to release all that pent-up energy while parents enjoy a latte at the on-site café. Parklife’s kid’s club also offers a drop-off option where kids can take part in fun and engaging activities in a safe and supervised environment while parents get to enjoy some time on their own.

Pottery making at Kevala Ceramics

Bali is known for its creative energy, so why not add some artful pursuits to your holiday? Kevala Ceramics offers clay and painting classes that are tailored for children. During the two-hour class, kids get to make their own ceramic bowl or cup using the wheel, as well as try their hand at painting. After the ceramics have been fired and glazed, you can either pick up the finished product at the studio in Sanur or have it shipped to your home. Now there is a souvenir that is truly one of a kind!

Waterslides, trampolines and bowling at Finns Recreation Club

Looking for a one-stop shop for keeping the kids entertained? Make your way over to Finns Recreation Club. The kids will have a blast splashing around the waterpark, bouncing up and down at the trampoline centre, and throwing strikes at the bowling alley. Finns also have a kids club where the little ones can play in a supervised environment. You can purchase a day pass to enjoy all the facilities or buy separate tickets to the individual venues.

Pony rides at Bali Equestrian Centre

Bali Equestrian Centre offers a variety of activities for kids who love horses. Besides casual pony rides, the stables also offer half-day and full-day pony camps where kids get to interact and care for the ponies, guided by the centre’s experienced grooms and instructors. Of course, the kids get to ride the ponies too, with equestrian-themed games and crafts also included in the program. Classes are tailored for each group, making this activity suitable for everyone from absolute beginners to more experienced riders.

Art classes at Creative Arts Bar

Creative Arts Bar is the perfect place to let your kids’ creativity shine! The venue’s Kids Club Classes allow parents to enjoy a little me-time while the kids have fun with painting, pinata making, dressing up, and more. The kids will have a blast (while also being looked after by a certified early childhood trained educator) while parents get to catch their breath – it’s an absolute win-win!

Minigolf and more at Shooters

A visit to Shooters will keep your kids entertained for hours on end. Centrally located in Seminyak, this fun-filled venue is loved by kids and grownups alike. Besides a fun minigolf course, Shooters has a whole range of fun and games to choose from. Try your hand at a game of billiards, foosball, or ping pong or challenge the kids to a game of giant Jenga or Connect Four. Need to blow off some steam? Let loose on the shooting range or maybe try out some axe throwing! Their menu is family-friendly too, featuring pizzas, burgers, and the like. In keeping with the venue’s fairground feel, they even serve cotton candy.
